Questions we’re often asked.

Do we need to tell people we have CCTV?

Generally yes. UK data protection rules apply to CCTV that records people, including signage and how long footage is kept. We’ll point you to the ICO’s guidance. We’re not a legal adviser, so take legal advice for your own circumstances.

Can you take over an existing system?

Often, yes. We’d survey it first and tell you honestly whether to keep, extend or replace it.

Can access control be linked to our staff leavers process?

Yes. We’ll agree how changes are requested so leavers’ access is closed promptly.
